I have almost come to the end of my P90X2 journey - YAY! I say almost because I have a week (or two) left, but I have come down with bronchitis and cannot work out this week. Since I started, I weighed 132 lbs. for my 5'4 frame. I have since lost down to 123 and several inches from my waist, which was what I was after. My goal was to eliminate belly fat - I studied online nutrition, belly fat eliminator diets and supplements, watched Dr. Oz and anything else I found. I put together a rotating menu with foods that I needed to incorporate into my diet. Let's face it, I am a creature of habit and tended to eat the same things over and over. With that said, I build up muscle, strengthened my core and pushed my body harder than I ever did before. At the end of my journey, I still have about an inch or so of fat left on my belly, but I can now see my abs. At 42 years old, I never thought I would again.
When I finish finally, I will start on Insanity and see where that takes me. I'm going to continue eating the Clean, healthy way, incorporating more vegetarian and vegan dishes into my diet (even though I do eat meat), because I need more nutrients and variety that these dishes will give me. It works!!
