Everyone needs a little time away.....or so the song goes. I know I do! As a business owner, we are limited as to when we can take time off from our work. We have one week in the summer - July 4th - and one week at Christmas. This year, we are taking our boys and headed down South....waaaaay down south to the Western Caribbean. Our boys have never been out of the country, much less on a boat, so needless to say we are all a little excited.
Leaving out Sunday from New Orleans, we are doing the 7 day cruise to Belize, Honduras and Mexico. We plan on seeing some Mayan ruins, and swimming with the dolphins, as well as eating until we undo all our hard efforts to lose weight, laying like beached whales on the sandy beaches of Belize and toasting up nice and crispy on the deck of the ship while the boys play....somewhere other than near us.
Yes, I am ready for some rest and relaxation, but more importantly, it will be family time. Seven days of togetherness. On second thought, I might just need a vacation from my vacation when I get back, lol!
