I'm consistently staying at my goal weight of 120lbs. without much effort. I worked very hard for 8 months (2 years and 8 months if you count ALL of my time), sticking to a hard core workout regimen and strict clean diet. I counted my calories everyday using My Fitness Pal. Now, I am just tweaking little things here and there, but am over-all very pleased with my current fitness level.
I run 3 X a week, about 20 minutes each run - incorporating sprints in the last 5 minutes. I use the P90X and P90X2 programs, getting the weights out and working my muscle. Muscle burns more calories at rest than just trying to do cardio alone. I spend about 5 days working out and 2 days stretching or doing yoga.
After 2 years of eating clean, I no longer have to monitor my food, because I watched it so carefully, I know what to eat and when. I'm incorporating more healthy foods into my diet, using products I believe in that are helping me flush the toxins and filling my body back up with nutrients.
I've had so many people ask "what are you doing", that I decided to write a little guide to help you get started on the right track. There will be daily tips attached to a sample meal plan, using things I have found online from various other plans, Dr. Oz and general information.
I'm by no means a nutritionist or dietitian, but I have found what works for me. You may have to adjust accordingly, and always be aware of what foods your body can or cannot handle. As I said, this is just MY version of what worked for me. Hopefully you can use some of it to help you get started on your path.

Liquid Cleanse
I'm going to be keeping a progress report about each GENESIS PURE product I'm using, how it tastes, how it affects my body and the end results. Perhaps one or more can help you!
I've been on Liquid Cleanse about a week now. This is a liquid that you add a dropper full into juice or water and drink twice a day. Combined with Cardio Cleanse, which I'm also doing once a day, you will help your body stimulate and detox every organ and cell in the body, with emphasis on all seven channels of elimination (liver, colon, kidneys, lungs, lymphatic system, skin and blood stream).
First, the taste. It tastes like....a serious concentrated veggie juice that has zero added flavors. Put it in fruit or veggie juice to help it go down easier if you don't like the taste. Me, I can handle anything. After all, I'm drinking ACV (apple cider vinegar) in the mornings and THAT STUFF doesn't go down easy. Bottom line - if it's good for me, I'll drink it.
Second, the results. I can already tell a difference in how my body is reacting and getting rid of toxins. More frequently and I don't feel bloated or full. I actually enjoy drinking it because I know my body is using it and helping heal itself from all the toxins that have built up over the years.
Oh, by the way, drinking the ACV helps reduce hunger, so I'm not as hungry, and it helps the liver get rid of toxins as well. Should I do both? HP (Highly processed) Taco Seasoning is a NO-NO!
Ever looked on the back of your pre-packaged taco seasoning mix? I just found this on a healthy blog site - the maltodextrin that is listed as the main ingredient is a highly processed food additive. YUCK!
on her page is a good taco seasoning mix you can make yourself and know that everything in it is healthy!
Per 1 lb. ground meat:
3/4 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon oregano
plus salt and pepper to taste
She also has a good taco salad recipe there as well!

Then End of P90X2...almost
I have almost come to the end of my P90X2 journey - YAY! I say almost because I have a week (or two) left, but I have come down with bronchitis and cannot work out this week. Since I started, I weighed 132 lbs. for my 5'4 frame. I have since lost down to 123 and several inches from my waist, which was what I was after. My goal was to eliminate belly fat - I studied online nutrition, belly fat eliminator diets and supplements, watched Dr. Oz and anything else I found. I put together a rotating menu with foods that I needed to incorporate into my diet. Let's face it, I am a creature of habit and tended to eat the same things over and over. With that said, I build up muscle, strengthened my core and pushed my body harder than I ever did before. At the end of my journey, I still have about an inch or so of fat left on my belly, but I can now see my abs. At 42 years old, I never thought I would again.
When I finish finally, I will start on Insanity and see where that takes me. I'm going to continue eating the Clean, healthy way, incorporating more vegetarian and vegan dishes into my diet (even though I do eat meat), because I need more nutrients and variety that these dishes will give me. It works!!
